Join us for Project Homeless Connect 2024, a one-day event dedicated to connecting our unhoused neighbors with critical services and resources. This year's event will take place on Oct. 15 at Loussac Library in Anchorage from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Whether you're in need of support or looking for ways to give back, this event is for you!

Event overview

Project Homeless Connect is a one-stop event where individuals experiencing homelessness can access services related to housing, medical care, employment, food security, legal aid and more. In addition to these essential services, attendees will receive (while supplies last):

  • A drawstring bag filled with hygiene products

  • A zippered bag with winter gear such as boots, jacket, snow pants, socks, hat, gloves and headlamp

  • A boxed meal and refreshments

Community members are invited to volunteer or donate to help make a difference in the lives of Anchorage's unhoused population. Even if you can’t volunteer in person, consider donating funds or items to support our efforts!

Volunteer opportunities

Volunteers are essential to the success of Project Homeless Connect. Whether you can help for an hour or all day, we have a spot for you.

Volunteers will help with food service, winter gear distribution, and providing general support to our unhoused neighbors. Snacks and coffee will be available for volunteers and participating organizations throughout the day.

How you can help

Can't volunteer? You can still make a significant impact by donating much-needed winter gear (new items only please) or funds. Your donations will allow us to purchase essential items at a bulk discount to better support the community.

Donate new winter gear such as boots, jackets, gloves and socks.

Contribute funds to help us buy products in bulk at a great price.

Together, we can make a difference for our unhoused neighbors.
