Join us at a vendor fair today! Empress' Garden is happening from noon to 5 at Green Connection, 804 E. 15th Avenue. We are honored to be the nonprofit that will benefit from what promises to be an enriching experience. Some 20 creatives are joining to bring art, astrology, specialty foods and more! @TalesoftheTarot and @GreenConnection are hosting.

Emergency Rental Assistance Opportunity! ACEH has received funding for a new program offering limited rapid rehousing assistance and support services for Anchorage households. Federal dollars that support housing for our neighbors most in need STILL haven't been released by HUD. This delay could disrupt more than 120 households in Anchorage alone. The funds in the Continuum of Care program cover rents and supports for those who have been experiencing homelessness. The National Aliance to End Homelessness offers ways to advocate. Our office will be closed Monday in honor of Elizabeth Peratrovich. She was of the Tlingit Lukaax.ádi clan, a civil rights leader who pushed for passage of Alaska’s Anti-Discrimination Bill in 1945. Today is Elizabeth Peratrovich Day in Alaska.
