Exciting News from Next Step Initiative!

We are thrilled to announce that 15 more neighbors have taken a monumental step on their journey to stability and independence, bringing the total to 50! Each resident has been warmly welcomed with a new home starter kit, carefully put together to ensure a comfortable living experience from day one. Essentials such as cozy bedding, functional furniture, and handy crockpots help to set the foundation for a new chapter.

The Next Step pilot goes beyond the keys to a new home. Each newly housed person will have a full year of supportive services. We wholeheartedly believe that the right support can make all the difference in transitioning to and maintaining successful housing.

But our mission continues. As we celebrate this milestone, there are still 100 individuals who need our help before the emergency shelter closes at the end of April.
