Dear Anchorage: Thank you

The Anchorage Coalition to End Homelessness, the office of Anchorage Mayor Suzanne LaFRance and the Anchorage Assembly Housing and Homelessness Committee co-hosted Summit: Anchorage’s Coordinated Response to Homelessness on March 20 and 21, 2025.

To our community,

We extend our heartfelt thanks to each of you who joined us at this week’s Summit on Anchorage's Coordinated Response to Homelessness. Over two days we kept the conversation person-centered to better serve our neighbors. This event underscored the collaboration and partnership of the Mayor’s Office, the Assembly Housing and Homelessness Committee and the Anchorage Coalition to End Homelessness.

We are proud that over 300 community members, policy makers and service providers came together in a commitment to turn the tide on homelessness to meet the moment.

Big community challenges require big community efforts. Together, we are making Anchorage better for everyone who calls it home.

For those who weren’t able to attend, the Summit was recorded in its entirety and is available to watch back at youtube.com/@moameetings.

We are inspired by the shared dedication to fostering an efficient, effective and economical response to homelessness that puts people first.

With gratitude,

Mayor Suzanne LaFrance, Municipality of Anchorage
Kameron Perez-Verdia, Assembly Housing & Homelessness Committee Co-Chair
Randy Sulte, Assembly Housing & Homelessness Committee Co-Chair
Meg Zaletel, Anchorage Coalition to End Homelessness Executive Director
