The Anchorage Coalition to End Homelessness works with service providers and community partners to ensure that people experiencing homelessness in Anchorage can receive the help they need.

Downtown Hope Center Resources

These services are provided for unsheltered individuals by the Downtown Hope Center:

  • Showers – 5 days a week 9 am – 2 pm (limited availability)
  • Morning coffee and pastries while waiting for showers
  • Daily lunch and snack bag provided
  • Clothing, shoes, sleeping bags, blankets, etc.
  • Mail service
  • Free job training

The Emergency Rental Assistance Program (ERA) Applications

ERA is for residents in Anchorage, Alaska who are at risk of homelessness. ERA will provide financial support for individuals to pay for rent. Applications are currently being accepted from now until September through our website henninginc.org. This program was created to help prevent individuals from becoming homeless. Once you apply, we will review your application and reach out to you with our decision with whatever contact information you have provided.
