Learn more about the organizations doing the important work of addressing homelessness, the power of partnerships and Anchorage’s newest housing units for those with low and extremely low incomes. The event will kick off with insights from Jason Bockenstedt, executive director of the newly created Anchorage Affordable Housing and Land Trust.
This press conference will also commemorate the 2023 HUD Secretary’s Award for Public-Philanthropic Partnerships. Margaret Salazar, U.S. Housing & Urban Development regional administrator, will be on hand to talk about why the work in Alaska stands out.
