Building Blocks of a Youth System
HUD’s Office of Special Needs Assistance Programs (SNAPS) and technical assistance partners ICF and Homebase are hosting a webinar on April 15, 2021 from 11:00 – 12:30 PM AKST.
The webinar will:
• Focus on the core components of developing a coordinated community response and how communities can start now on youth system planning
• Review the components and actions needed for the development of a strong youth homelessness response system
During this webinar, a panel of Youth Homelessness Demonstration Program (YHDP) communities will provide key insights and lessons learned from their youth system planning process. The panel discussion will address key considerations for incorporating equity and authentic youth engagement into local system planning processes and will speak to the unique experiences of urban, suburban, and rural communities.
