Note: The Public Meeting will begin at 3 PM.

 Elections:

 Each year, we ask ACEH and CoC membership to vote on new members to fill open seats on the Advisory Council, which oversees and governs Anchorage’s Homeless Prevention and Response System. Elections for open seats on the Advisory Council are determined by a vote of members of the Continuum of Care of Anchorage. You are receiving this reminder email as you are an individual member or voting representative for a member organization.

 The Advisory Council shall be comprised of members from the nonprofit, private, and government sectors, relevant organizations, and those representing projects servicing homeless subpopulations and the general community within the Municipality. Advisory Council Members shall serve until they resign, are removed or their successors are qualified and elected. There are no term limits for Councilors. Please read the Advisory Council Job Description for more information on what is expected from Councilors.

• Responses must be completed and submitted by this Thursday, August 25th at 3:01pm.
• Current Advisory Council Members can vote twice – once as a Councilor and once as the primary contact of the CoC organization or ACEH membership.

 The Homeless Prevention & Response System Advisory Council will meet during this 2-hour period to discuss relevant Anchorage Continuum of Care initiatives and current events. This meeting will also be recorded for meeting minutes and record-keeping purposes.

ACEH Board of Directors are invited to attend, but not required to participate.
